Touring the Bonneville Dam - and more
UW AMS students Jane, Jamin, and Jonathan enjoyed a weekend in the Columbia Gorge that included a tour of the Bonneville Dam and a campout on the shores of the Descutes River. They were able to learn about hydroelectric power generation and how the weather influences dam operations. Other highlights included a visit to Multnomah Falls and Jamin reeling in a 14 inch bass for dinner. While the evening was a tad wet, it was a good time enjoyed by all.
