Kenseth<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\"><em><em>Ph.D.,&nbsp;Chemistry, Caltech<\/em><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span class=\"il\">Christopher<\/span> <span class=\"il\">Kenseth<\/span> is a NSF Atmospheric and Geospace Sciences Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Atmospheric Sciences at the University of Washington with Prof. Joel Thornton. He received his PhD in Chemistry from the California Institute of Technology with Profs. John Seinfeld, Paul Wennberg, and Brian Stoltz. Lee<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Ph.D., Environmental Engineering and Science, Harvard University<\/em> | <a href=\"https:\/\/atmos.uw.edu\/~benhlee\/\"><em>website<\/em><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ben joined the Thornton group in the fall of 2012 as a <a href=\"https:\/\/cpaess.ucar.edu\/cgc\/class-22\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NOAA C&amp;GC<\/a> postdoctoral fellow following his PhD work with <a href=\"https:\/\/atmos.seas.harvard.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Steve Wofsy<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/scholar.harvard.edu\/jwmunger\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bill Munger<\/a> at Harvard. His research interests include <a href=\"https:\/\/pubs.rsc.org\/en\/content\/articlelanding\/2023\/EA\/D2EA00133K\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">oxidation mechanisms<\/a> of biogenic terpenes, source and process <a href=\"https:\/\/pubs.acs.org\/doi\/10.1021\/acsearthspacechem.9b00302\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">attribution of SOA<\/a>, and the impact of deforestation on the oxidative capacity of the atmosphere. In her research projects, she investigates the sources and composition of oxygenated organic compounds and the formation of secondary organic aerosol in different parts of the world: from remote oceans to urban environments. In addition, her research interests include autoxidation of aromatic compounds and chemistry of new particle formation. She has received PhD from University of Helsinki, Finland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In summer 2022, Olga participated in AGENA field campaign and deployed high resolution mass spectrometer coupled with dual I-\/Br- ionization scheme to detect oxygenated organic compounds, halogen species and other trace gases. Olga is also involved in instrument installation at the UW <a href=\"https:\/\/ascent.research.gatech.edu\/\">ASCENT<\/a> site.
