Haynes completed his PhD at the University of Chicago Dept. of Geophysical Sciences in 2024. Haynes is interested in how changes in the climate can impact society and livelihoods. His most recent work involves working with climate and crop models to assess how confidently researchers can project the future impacts of climate change on agriculture.
