I believe that the scientific community has an important responsibility to engage the public and policymakers about climate change science in a way that is honest and objective. Through my involvement with the UW's Program on Climate Change as well as in teaching an undergraduate course on Global Warming, I have devoted considerable time to organizing events and to teaching the science behind global warming to elementary-aged, undergraduate and graduate students, and to the general public.
