Grading Policy

20% midterm, 30% final, 40% homework , 10% project

No late HW accepted, due dates on syllabus page

Weekly quizzes are not part of the overall grade. The motivation for this is to allow the quizzes to be
an opportunity for students to test their understanding of the course material in a relatively low-pressure setting.

However, if the average quiz score over the class exceeds the lowest homework score, it will be used in its place.
