Hello and Welcome!
I am a graduate student in the Department of Atmospheric Sciences at the University of Washington in Professor Greg Hakim's research group. My academic interests include aerodynamics, turbulence & chaos, atmospheric dynamics, synoptic & mesoscale meteorology, climate and climate change. My current research focuses on turbulence, waves and vortices in the mid-latitude jet stream, predictability, forecast error growth and numerical weather prediction.

Prior to this, I obtained my master's degree in Aeronautics & Astronautics with concentration in Thermo-Fluids, also from the University of Washington where in my research focus was to investigate the coherent structures in a turbulent flow past a backward - facing step and develop an alogirthm to sample and obtain the velocity and vorticity fields from DPIV methods.

Feel free to browse through my pages to learn more about my research and other interests or email me to find out more.
