BIO
A native of France, Caroline Planque graduated with a Master of Arts in Photojournalism from the University of Texas at Austin in December 1999. While at UT, she worked as a teaching assistant in “Visual Literacy” and “Photographic Communication” and as a staff photographer and printer for Photography Services. In 2000, she was one of a hundred photographers selected to attend the Eddie Adams Workshop in upstate New York. Her articles and photographs have been published in Paris based Blast magazine, France-Amérique (Le Figaro's international edition), Le Journal Français, L’Echo (Alliance Française de Seattle’s monthly), The Stranger and the European Weekly where she currently edits the French section. She has also worked as an instructor at Cascades Academy of Photography in Issaquah, WA. In July 2005, she was one of two recipients awarded the print sponsorship program at Photographic Center Northwest for her body of work Identité(s).
She is represented by Wall Space Gallery in Seattle and is available for weddings and creative portraiture.
