Research interests: Atmospheric chemistry; tropospheric and stratospheric photochemistry; chemical modeling of atmospheric observations; influence of human activities on the composition of atmosphere.
Projects: I am interested in understanding the chemistry of the troposphere and its perturbations by human activities. Some ongoing projects involve:
- Analysis of satellite observations to quantify surface emissions of NOx and VOCs;
- Global
simulations of long-range transport of pollutants;
- Modeling studies of the global mercury cycle;
- Examination of the global budget of hydrogen;
- Chemical forecasting in support of field
missions.
