Introduction

I am a PhD student in the University of Washington Department of Atmospheric Sciences in Seattle, Washington. My current research interests are in the realm of paleoclimate, paleo-atmospheric chemistry, and stable isotopes, including mass-independent fractionation of stable isotopes. See my research pages for more details on my work. My advisor is Becky Alexander. I'm also one of the current department Graduate Student Representatives (along with Stu Evans) - please contact us with any important grad student issues.

As an undergraduate, I went to Bowdoin College in Brunswick, ME (a wonderful town in Midcoast Maine), where I majored in Physics. I also ran cross-country and track at Bowdoin, and I continue to run a lot, as well as bicycling (commuting, touring, triathlon-ing, you name it...).
