ATM S 211 Climate and Climate Change
Assignment 1: Use the Web Due 6 October 1999
In this first assignment I want you to
1) Read the web page for this class, for which the URL address is www://atmos.washington.edu/~dennis/atms211.html.
A) Make a list of the major headings in this home page
B) Click on the Sixth one, Assorted Climate Graphics. Describe one of the graphics that most interests you. Go back to the ATMS211 home page and look at all the other things. Be sure to check the Class Assignment History. Read it carefully.
2) Learn to use email. Send the results of part one of this exercise to Robb via email at
robb@apl.washington.edu. Be sure to sign your name. At the bottom of your E-Mail write: Hartmann's Zebra Forever!
If you aren’t currently using the web, go to a Campus Computing Lab, for example the Computing Resource Center in Suzallo Library, and get started.
