May 2013 - I will be giving the departmental Atmospheric and Climate Dynamics Seminar on Thursday, May 23, on the Ensemble Sensitivity of Atlantic Hurricane Intensification to Vortex Structure (see department calendar).
April 2013 - I have been accepted to attend the American Meteorological Society's Summer Policy Colloquium in Washington, D.C. from June 2 to 11. My trip will be generously funded by the National Science Foundation.
March 2013 - I have received an allocation on NCAR's Yellowstone supercomputing facility. Running ensembles just got a lot faster!
January 2013 - I have passed my general exam in which my committee approved my dissertation proposal. I'm officially a doctoral candidate!
December 2012 - My manuscript written with Prof. Hakim, "Variability and Predictability of a Three-Dimensional Hurricane in Statistical Equilibrium" has been accepted for publication in the Journal of the Atmospheric Sciences.
