Latest WRF v3.2 run
30 July 2010: Latest run with v3.2
* Added a fourth, outermost domain - dx = 81km, 200x200 grid points
* Adaptive time step bug side-stepped using max_time_step parameter in namelist.input
* 3DVPAS files updated, can now successfully initialize model with own files
The outflow now appears to be sufficiently isolated from the periodic boundaries of the outer domain, the outflow jet is still fairly symmetric and well contained at the end of month 1 (August) - encouraging! The intensity is also looking good - surface maximum wind speeds of 70 m/s, however the storm appears to still be strengthening so may not be in steady state yet.
