These are selected slides from my presentation at the AMS Conference on Hurricanes and Tropical Meteorology 15-20 April 2012 at Ponte Vedra, FL. The talk was recorded and should be available through the AMS website soon. I have not included commentary here.
CNTL refers to the control run which is stationary in the center of the domain (in red). FLX refers to the flux simulation which has an extra 10 m/s of zonal wind added to the surface flux calculation. It moves about the domain (in blue). Everything applies to the axisymmetric component unless otherwise noted.
