Ángel Francisco Adames-Corraliza (Ángel F. Adames)
Hi, I am graduate student at the Department of Atmospheric Sciences at the University of Washington. My current research involves studying the structure and propagation of the Madden-Julian Oscillation. So far I have worked on this topic with Jerome Patoux, Ralph Foster and Mike Wallace.
My areas of interest include:
Tropical Meteorology
Atmospheric Dynamics
General Circulation of the Atmosphere
Air-Sea Interaction
Selected Awards
Best student oral presentation, AMS 18th Conference on Air-Sea Interaction, Boston, MA.
NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program (NSF-GRFP) fellow, 2011.
NSF travel fellow for DYNAMO field campaign, 2011.
