8th International Cloud Modeling Workshop
Welcome to the website of the World Meteorological Organization International Cloud Modeling Workshop.
The 8th Internatinal Cloud Modeling Workshop takes place in Warsaw, Poland in July 23-27, 2012 the week prior to the 16th International Conference on Clouds and Precipitation (ICCP). The strategy is similar to past cloud modeling workshops that have utilized observationally-derived case studies to provide a framework for model intercomparisons.
The workshop will be divided into plenary sessions and working group sessions centered around each of the case studies. A social event and group dinner is also planned during the workshop (details to follow).
The 8th Cloud Modeling Workshop is sponsored in part by WMO, the NCAR Water Cycle Across Scales Initiative and the University of Warsaw.
