Computing & Communications has installed a wireless network in the Atmospheric Sciences - Geophysics (ATG) building. We recommend that this network only be used for laptops, and that desktop systems continue to use the wired network which is faster (gigabit) than the wireless system.

The wireless network will allow access to any UW system without logging on.. However, to get off campus you will need to log on using your UW NetID (this is the university account name/password not your Atmospheric Sciences account). UW faculty and staff may get a temporary UW NetID for visitors.
