Mailing lists

The department has a number of mailing lists.

Everyone with an account is in the "all-users" mailing list. This list should used infrequently and for general information only. Remember, a number of our users are outside the Seattle area. Some of our lists are run by individuals to mail to different groups in the department and are not open for subscription.

There are a number of lists managed by the Mailman software package. A list of these mailing lists can be found at http://www.atmos.washington.edu/atmos/mailing_lists.html. To subscribe to a list, just follow the link for the list you are interested in joining, or send e-mail to listname-join@atmos.washington.edu, replacing listname with the name of the mailing list you are interested in joining. If you wish to create a new list, please contact the computer support staff at support@atmos.washington.edu.
