Carbon dioxide (C02)
DEFINITION:
A trace gas found in the atmopshere which is made up of one
atom of carbon bound by two oxygen atoms. Plays an important role
in the greenhouse effect. Atmospheric content of C02 is increasing
and can be attributed to he burning of fossil fuels.
