Source Distribution

IVE is available via svn from https://www.atmos.washington.edu/svn/ive/. The latest and greatest can be found in trunk and stable releases can be found under branches. The current stable release can be fetched with the command
svn co https://www.atmos.washington.edu/svn/ive/branches/ive-4.4-release ive help on building IVE from source.

Binary Distribution

Nightly builds of IVE will soon be available for the following architectures and operating systems:

• DEC Alpha - Digital Unix 5.1B (and source)
• X86 Linux - Debian etch with intel fortran (and source)
• X86_64 Linux - Debian etch with intel fortran
• 64bit udunits
• 64bit xgks(uw mods)
• 64bit ncar graphic build

Other required software

• Netcdf 3.3 or greater
• Udunits 1.10.8 or greater
• UW modified xgks (svn co https://www.atmos.washington.edu/svn/xgks-uw)
• Ncar Graphics
• Motif and X libraries
