The goal of this assignment is to review and evaluate critically an article discussing climate imapacts. Using one of the library search tools you're now familiar with, find a magazine article that addresses some aspect(s) of climate impacts on society. The article might focus on the consequences of "global warming", it might be about the impacts a particular drought or flood episode had on a particular region, or it might focus on El Nino impacts.  You are free to select an article from a magazine of your choice, but we prefer it comes from a magazine with relatively broad circulation (for example, Time, The Economist, Scientific American, Discover, Newsweek, etc.).

Your assignment is to write a 2-page (typed and double-spaced) review and evaluation of the article. Please begin with a half-page summary of the article's main points. The remainder of your evaluation should include your assessment of the quality of the article. A few questions you might address include:

• is the article informative?
• is the information presented carefully and accurately (to the best of your knowledge)?
• is the article written in a way that argues a particular viewpoint? If so, is that viewpoint justified? Is that viewpoint balanced?
• For instance, does the article argue that El Nino is "bad", or that global warming is "good"?
