Private gifts are the way in which we enhance our programs and provide our students and faculty with opportunities that they would otherwise not have. While tuition and state funds support our core mission of education, and our research grants will support our ongoing scientific research programs, private support allows us to provide financial support for exceptional students, make important enhancements in existing programs, to invest in our key personnel, and to pursue objectives that will take the Department in exciting new directions.
