2012 Mindlin-Reed Scholarship Application

In 2012 one Mindlin-Reed Scholarship (for funding beginning in fall 2012) will be awarded and will pay 1/3 of the student's tuition in each of Autumn, Winter and Spring quarters at the out-of-state or in-state level. The award is renewable annually, up to a maximum of four years, provided the recipient remains registered as an Atmospheric Sciences major making satisfactory progress towards the Atmospheric Sciences degree.

 

ELIGIBILITY: In order to be considered for a 2012 Mindlin-Reed Scholarship, you must:

* Be applying for admission (as a freshman or transfer) for Spring, Summer, or Autumn 2012 and intending to major in Atmospheric Sciences

or

* Have already submitted an application for admission and/or been admitted (as a freshman or transfer) for Winter, Spring, Summer, or Autumn 2012 and intend to major in Atmospheric Sciences

or

* Be a currently enrolled undergraduate Atmospheric Sciences major at the University of Washington

The application deadline is March 30, 2012.

2. Submit copies of your high school and/or post-secondary transcripts:

Current UW students - submit your UW transcript as well as transcripts for any courses that you have taken at community colleges or other four-year colleges.

High school students applying to the UW - submit your high school transcript as well as transcripts for any courses that you have taken at community colleges or other four-year colleges.

Transfer or post-bac students applying to the UW - submit transcripts for any courses that you have taken at community colleges or other four-year colleges.
