Radiosonde Data Site

Each day of the calender links you to images of RH profiles and skew-T diagrams as they come available. The sounding data are being quality controlled at this time, but should be available for general use after January of 2000. Contact Edit-Design Center edc(at)atmos.washington.edu to inquire about these data.

Below are images of RH and winds for star 1 (19990510 10 UTC - 19990515 12 UTC, 12oN 88.75oE) and star 2 (19990521 12 UTC - 19990526 14 UTC, 11oN 88oE). These are the times of enhanced monitoring during the JASMINE cruise, with radiosonde launches every 3 hours (8/day) and CTD casts every 0.5o. Conditions where relatively suppressed during the first star and active for the second star, as is evident in the figures.
