Over the course of the quarter, you will find and review 4 different current or recent media articles on (or closely related to) the climate change / global warming topic.

For each review, you just need to write a short paragraph summarizing the article, plus a paragraph giving your critique of the article. Examples of questions you could address in the critique: Was the science sound? If there was a policy or business suggestion quoted, do you think it makes sense? How does the presented argument or finding look in the context of what we've discussed in class? These are just suggestions of course... in general, we're looking for your informed reaction to the article.

Finally, provide a bibliographic reference to the article at the end of the review, just so that we know where to find it. Note that a link or URL has to be included in such a reference if you found the article online.

Try to keep each review under 350 words... even shorter than that is fine. We're just looking for evidence that you read the news and thought about it a bit, not a magnum opus. 2 paragraphs.

These will be handed in through the Moodle site.

Due dates:

One article/review by Monday, Nov. 2nd

Two more reviews by when you come back from Thanksgiving (Monday, Nov. 30th)

One more by the last day of lecture (Thursday, Dec. 10th)

Total of 4 articles reviewed.

You can certainly do them earlier than these dates... if you find something interesting in the news that you want to write about, just go for it!
